Hillenaar introduces the CityCell

‘CityCell, a new medium in the heart of the city’, with this slogan Hillenaar introduces her newest product to the market.

A CityCell is a newly designed high-tech KPN telephone booth with two illuminated advertising panels at Street furniture format. All CityCells are strategically positioned at point-of-sale locations and along thoroughfares within 100.000+ cities in the Netherlands.

Hillenaar has placed the first 100 CityCells in Utrecht, Breda and Emmen, and more large cities will follow this year. A new Street furniture network will be developed by phased out roll per city. Hillenaar intends to replace at least 1.000 existing booths with the new CityCells.

The possibilities for advertisers are numerous. Besides purchasing all the CityCells in one city, several packages based on target groups are available. The CityCells can of course be purchased by location as well.

The new KPN telephone booth is designed by design agency Fabrique, who gave a new dimension to the existing telephone booth. The concept of advertising on telephone booths already exists in Sweden and England.
